Supplementary work

Post by JS28 » Sun Aug 31, 2014 6:08 pm

Hi,

Can anyone please explain this:

Sponsored Migrants are able to undertake “Supplementary Employment” provided it meets
the following criteria:

In the same profession and at the same professional level as the work for which your Certificate of Sponsorship was issued unless the work is on the UK Border Agency Shortage Occupation List.

I am working as a College Lecturer so can I work for an awarding body to verify assignments since it will still be linked to education sector? The pay will only be £200 one off.

Can anyone kindly help as I don't want to take the job and then get in trouble.

Thanks
