Which appendix to fill for settlement visa

Hello Guru, I have filled an online application for settlement visa for my children who are 16 and 13. I came to the UK in December 2011 on Spouse Visa and I got my ILR last year and my wife is British.

I didn't see any option for filling the appendix form. Do I have to download the hard copy and fill with ink.

I am quite confused as the appointment is on the last week of September.

Need help please.

You need to print the appendix 2 form and complete by hand.

Thanks SoHopeful for a quick reply. Can you please differentiate between appendix 1 and appendix 2? The third point in appendix 1 and the second point in appendix 2 is quite confusing.

Does anybody know the latest VAF4a Appendix 2 form. The one I found was of December 2013.

Appendix 1 is for leave under Part 8 and Appendix 2 under Appendix FM.

Thank you Amber guru. Is there any way to define them in layman terms? Sorry to be a pain but can't take the risk.

Appendix 1 is mostly for people applying under the old rules (pre July 2012) - but there are still a few categories which fall there.

Appendix 2 is for people applying for a standard family settlement visa now. This is you.

Thank you very much MPH80. And a last question, children under 18 don't need to meet English language requirements, is this correct?
