Options for Tier 2 ICT Short Term to other Visas

Post by satishrtadi » Fri Sep 05, 2014 3:37 pm

Hi Team,

Currently i am in UK on a Tier 2 ICT Short Term Staff Migrant Visa. My Visa would expire on 31st December 2014, but i will be travelling back to India on 26th September 2014 (3 Months early). I am joining another company after my return and they wanted to look at the option of sending me to UK again.

What other visa options do i have (Except Business Visa) to Travel back to UK with out the Cooling Period?
What option do i have for a transfer to a different company while i am in UK?

I have gone through a lot of Blogs but the responses are a bit confusing. Would appreciate if any one can help me with my situation.

Regards,
Satish.

If you join a different company after your T2 ICT STT visa, the only option left is Tier 2 General, but that'll require a 12 month cooling-off period.

Business visa may be an option, but technically you shouldn't be working and is only for meeting clients etc., Also it could create problem to your sponsor company and you, if the home office ever finds you're working with that visa and so not a recommended option.
