Once again - NO!!!!!come wrote:how about BNO passport holder?
No because the rules of the country you do the work in, requires you to have a separate work permit.Sten wrote:Can I work on a contract (should be different if my Ltd provides services to another company) ?
are you saying if i work for the UK COMPANIES for instance working abroad, i don't need a work permit in Europe?SYH wrote:No because the rules of the country you do the work in, requires you to have a separate work permit.Sten wrote:Can I work on a contract (should be different if my Ltd provides services to another company) ?
If you do the work in the UK for a country abroad, then there is no problem.
Why don't you explain the opportunity instead of throwing out random thoughts, we might be able to provide a method to work around it
No. My guru friend is saying if u work for a foriegn co in the UK, u just need a UK Work Permt/HSMP if u don't have ILR/BC.come wrote:are you saying if i work for the UK COMPANIES for instance working abroad, i don't need a work permit in Europe?SYH wrote:No because the rules of the country you do the work in, requires you to have a separate work permit.Sten wrote:Can I work on a contract (should be different if my Ltd provides services to another company) ?

No it does not. Only people with EEA nationality allows you free right of movement. You need a visa/work permit to work outside of the UK, in the EEA. ILR only allows you to live/work indefinitely in the UK, not the whole of the EEA. Your BN(O) status is irrelevant.come wrote:SYH wrote:Again if you explain what is the situation maybe we can help you but at this point I have lost interestcome wrote:are you saying if i work for the UK COMPANIES for instance working abroad, i don't need a work permit in Europe?SYH wrote: No because the rules of the country you do the work in, requires you to have a separate work permit.

I am looking for a job in the UK right now. I would like to know my status (BNO passport holder with ILR) eligibility for working in Europe or not. Sorry I did not state clear before.
And not only that, he risks losing his ILR if he moves elsewhere in Europe.sakura wrote: Only people with EEA nationality allows you free right of movement. Also, you will need a visa/work permit even if you're working for a UK company in another branch. In essence - another country, another visa/work permit. No exceptions until you're an EEA national.
