changing tier 2 sponsor

Post by mando112 » Thu Sep 11, 2014 10:57 pm

Hi All,

I am planning to change employer and my current notice period is 100 days

my visa will expire in 2016 however I have the following questions

1.I have read around and people suggest not to hand in notice even after receiving the cos from the new employer and wait to receive the visa and brp before handing in your notice.

The problem with that is if my visa is approved , I can simply say bye to the current employer and walk out . I have signed a contract with them let aside this not been morally right .

2.Re above can I have the start date 2-3 month in advance so once approved I will still have time to serve notice and keep the relationship ok with current employer?

3.Is it easy to get a premium 1 day service so that I get a reply within a day or so for a job due to start in 2-3 month ?

4.IF I get a cos , is it safe to assume I will get visa considering I met the salary requirement and rlmt?

5,if my application gets rejected for whatever reason, does my current visa also gets revoked or can I work for them as if nothing has happened ?

many thanks

look at your employment contract to see if there are any penalties for not giving the required notice

yes, and when you get your visa you can continue working for the current employer until the start date.

no

5,if my application gets rejected for whatever reason, does my current visa also gets revoked
no

yes
many thanks
