Naturalisation help needed

Post by spatel07 » Mon Aug 20, 2007 8:58 am

Hi

Basically, I was endorsed with a wrong settlement visa from BHC abroad and only when I seeked advice here in the UK, I was in fact entitled to indefinite leave to remain (ILR)! So the time from when the first incorrect visa was granted to when I got ILR is 650 days! Most of the time was spent abroad but I am now in the UK.

Can I claim this time towards my naturalisation as it is lost time which was not my fault due to the incorrect visa being issued? Also, can I claim previous time on visitor visits to the UK and if so, how far back can I claim?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.
