UK Ancestry visa qualification

Hi, I am a Jamaican citizen but I am currently in the UK on a visitors visa and will be returning to jamaica in a couple of months. My grandmother has been living and working in the UK since 1969 and is a British citizen with a British passport. Can I qualify for an ancestry visa through her?

Was she born in the UK?
