I am South African and I am going to travel to my home country. Can I re-enter UK without any problems? I have EEA 2 residence card and my wife will be travelling with me.

No problem if she is traveling with you.

Are you only going home for a holiday? Is she still working in the UK? As long as you both don't break residence that should be fine. I think 6 months outside the UK would be too much. I'm not 100% sure about the 6 month thing but I'm sure someone else will come along and provide feedback on that.

My wife is still working in UK and I also have a job at the moment. We are just taking up holiday at the moment to visit family and friends.
