Tier 2 Dependent visa Urgent question

Post by Andy12 » Fri Sep 19, 2014 11:03 am

Hi,

May I have your expertise on the below question please!!

My spouse was on Tier 2 visa and made redundant on 1st July 2014. She applied to stay in the UK as my dependent (I am also on Tier 2) on 8th August 2014. UKVI let her know today, the 19th of September that she did not apply using the correct version of the dependent form. The letter says, you must make the application using the correct version of the correct specified form. Her visa fee was reimbursed.

Now the situation is, she was on Tier 2 and her 60 days of curtailment ended on 31st August 2014. Today is 19th September, new bank statement is ordered, it is going to take around 4-5 working days so new application can't be make sooner than 25th or 26th of this month.

My question is, does she need to get back to her home country and apply from there as an entry clearance or can she re-apply as a dependent within UK using the correct format?

Please help!!

Many thanks,
Andy
