the letter from the UKBA is typically sent via 2nd class and not couriers... However, let us know if it was different in your case!

I applied on 2 June via NCS (Cambridge). I was told it would take about 7 weeks. It's now been 108 days and nothing, and my application was really quite straightforward (or so I thought... ) I'm getting a bit frustrated, especially as it appears that some people who applied in July and August have got their approval already, which just seems so unfair... Here's hoping that we'll start seeing more movement soon...

I'm trying to focus on Arvind's estimated SLA of 82 working days. I'm looking forward to not being fixated on whether a brown envelope with a 2nd class stamp has been delivered or not..
