How do I have a family?

Post by Adi9626 » Sat Sep 20, 2014 3:24 pm

Ok first of all I would like to state that I have no faith or trust in the validity of the information provided at the boarder, from the embassy and on the .gov website since they all have mislead me and I cannot trust them. Therefore I am hoping to get a real answer here from all you that have been though this stuff.

I want my wife, but I do not trust the boarder to be honest with me. Me and my wife are young, we met a few years ago and since the UK made it clear I had to leave to marry her when they wouldn't let her come I had to quit my job. Then again they made it clear that she can't visit while I work for the permit. I earn £22k so I'm above the 18,600, I have been in this job for 4 weeks. I will leave it to visit my wife for 6 months to attend the birth of our first child. Also she is fluent in English.

My question: how can I get my family together? I am sick of being alone and living at my mothers, I want to get my flat back and my car back however there is no point doing this if I have to leave the country. They know I can work hard, iv been at work since it was 16 and I only had a break to marry. Plus David Camron recon he wants to help families. All I want is to have my son and wife with me so I can get a car and a house.

I am worried that I'll spend this four months apart from them for nothing then when I come back I threat that they will just take my cash, waste my time and leave me in a position with nothing. I feel like my life is on hold and I can't move forward. What on earth can I do to win this? How can I get reassurance on getting everything sorted? I'm at that age now where everyone has left uni, people my age are getting married and having kids and they ant chastised for it. It's such a major crime to marry a foreigner and I resent the punishment. It's well beyond a joke now, I have to start spending money on the child and not on hopes and dreams. I need real results, how can I get them?

Are you the British Citizen/ILR holder? Or your wife?

As a native English speaker, I was a bit confused by your post...

Anyway, the answer is simple: the visa process is a tick box exercise. Tick the boxes and the visa is granted. If you take it too personally (as you seem to be doing), it won't help you get what you want.

It is not clear to me if you have been working for the past six months earning at least £18,600pa, or if you have earned over £18,600 in the last 12 months. If you have, then your wife probably qualifies for a spouse visa.

She won't qualify however if you leave the job you've been in for only 4 weeks and stay for several months outside of the UK with your wife. How will the job be kept open for you for that long??

Maybe you could move with your wife to child to another member state following the birth, and settle there.

Unfortunately you child will be British by descent.

Will not be able to pass his/her citizenship to future generation who are born overseas.

Unfortunately David Cameron does not care about Foreign spouse or British Citizens born to foreign spouse.

He is more concerned about UKIP , Scotland's Wealth and their obsession with the EU.

I had a friend who would spend 3+ months out of the UK at a time to spend time with her husband. I totally understood this and often wanted to do the same myself before my husband came to the UK - but the reality is (as mentioned) she would never have a job to come back to and eventually she realised that she needed to focus on settling into a job in order to sponsor her husband.

Unfortunately if SS route or going to live with your spouse is not an option then you have to endure the separation until such time that she can join you here.
