A question about Romanian citizenship and passport..

Well I am new here .. I have question about obtaining Romanian citizenship
I am 23 civil engineer holding the Syrian citizenship
one of my parents (my father) is Romanian and he has Romanian Citizenship and he also lives in Romania
I know that I can apply for the Romanian citizenship but do not know how long it will take and also if I will face some bad issues during that ..

my second question is
Can I travel Romania Easly in my actual condition ? in order to start the citizenship program and what are the needs and the useful papers or documents for that ?
