SWITCHING TO TIER 2 GENERAL IN OCT '14

hi,

I currently have Tier 2 ICT Long term Established Staff VISA. I travelled to UK on 20Nov 2010 for an initial 2 years and My visa subsequently got extended for another 2.5 years which has validity until May 2015.

However, I intend to shift to T2 General by this Oct'14, Can someone please tell me

1) How long will I be getting leave to remain in T2 General?
2) What's the prospect of getting ILR?
