Tier 2 General Eligibility

Hi,
I am on ICT longterm dependent visa. I am working as a permanent Senior ETL developer in a reputed organization and I'm a post graduate. My employer has license to issue the COS. I requested them to process COS for me. They said OK , but HR team advised that the job description for Senior ETL developer role doesn't say that degree is essential and only requires A level education. So, they conveyed me that the role is not eligible for COS.

But, I have gone through the guideline and I couldn't find this restriction anywhere in the document.

Should the minimum educational requirement for the role be a degree or myself should have the degree to get a CoS?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Although I dont think there is any requirement of educational qualification but even if ther eis, u said u have a post graduate degree and the requirement is a level, surely it should be fine

It is not your qualification that matters it is the NQF level of the job role. So if the role does not meet NQF6 then the role can not be offered under a COS unless it is on the shortage list.
