Cash Saving

Post by arash_uk » Mon Oct 06, 2014 2:11 pm

Hi All,

I have two questions for spouse visa application (the wife is BC and the husband is applying)
1-Is it still possible to apply directly to ILE based on 4 years living with the BC spouse outside the UK?
2-Can we use just cash saving in the case that we are both outside the UK and my husband is applying to come back with me. I dont have any acceptable job outside the UK or job offer but have held about £100,000 for about 8 months.

Thank you

1. No - that option disappeared in July 2012

2. Yes - providing it's in cash savings, held with a registered financial institution etc. See Appendix FM-SE for the required evidence.
