ILR if the last consecutive period falls on the long break

Post by Vago » Sun Oct 12, 2014 12:51 pm

Dear Sirs,

I will be applying for ILR in March 2018, say 15th March.

Counting backwards we get the following periods:

15-Mar-2018 to 16-Mar-2017
15-Mar-2017 to 16-Mar-2016
15-Mar-2016 to 16-Mar-2015
15-Mar-2015 to 16-Mar-2014
15-Mar-2014 to 16-Mar-2013

The problem is that I was absent in the period of 29-Sep-2011 till 21-July-2013 when I resumed my residency.
This makes 631 days. On the other hand there are only 127 days between 16-Mar-2013 and 21-July-2013. This is less than 180 days.

Will I be able to get the ILR in this case?

many thanks,
Vago
