Spouse Visa, £1750 salary

Post by philemon_bodiba » Fri Oct 17, 2014 12:38 pm

I have an Indefinite Leave to remain and would like to bring my wife and child into the UK, I understand entirely that a minimum of £22400 gross a year is what I should earn to cover both.
I earn approximately £1750 gross on a four-weekly basis, now would I still meet the financial requirements under Category A - bearing in mind that a four-weekly salary equals 13 payments a year and not 12?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks..
Pa

No you will not meet it, even if one was to consider you as a non-salaried employee.

Hi there.

Could you please explain in great detail as to why I will not meet it when £1750 x 13 = £22800 (above the £22400 threshold)?

Thanks...
Pa
