Tier 2 ICT in Aprl 2010 to ILR in 2015

Hi,

I came to UK on Tier 2 ICT visa in April 2010. because my company applied for my visa on my behalf, I am not aware of the exact date of the application. However, following are the key dates

1) Got Biometric appointment for 19/04/2010
2) COS start date 24/04/2010
3) Visa start date 30/04/2010
4)Entry date in UK 12/05/2010

The Visa Type : Tier 2 (INT COM TRAN) MIGRANT followed by CoS number

Considering above, will I be eligible for applying ILR in next May 2015 when I finish my 5 years?

depends on the date of the application for the initial entry clearance which is the date when the visa fee was paid. If you are unable to find out from the company when this was you can request your immigration records from the HO (SAR)

So the visa type "Tier 2 (INT COMP TRAN) MIGRANT" is not an indicator that my application was granted under the previous immigration rules?

the visa stamp is not a sufficient indication of your status. In order to be eligible for ILR you should have had leave granted under the rules before 6 April 2010. Invest £10 in a SAR, that should clear up the matter

Point taken. Anyways, money was not the concern . It was the time. SAR can take upto 40 Days to get a response .
