Dependant VISA for family

Post by febhsmp » Fri Aug 24, 2007 4:37 pm

Hi,
I travelled with my hsmp visa in july. I got my permanent UK job now in august. I will get my salary on 29th September. I got my rental accomodation as well. Now i am thinking of applying HSMP Dependant VISA for my wife and daughter. I have the Tenancy Agreement for my UK rental property.
Please can somebody help me to understand the list of documents that i would require to give my family, so that they can apply for their Visas.

Thank You,

Cheers,
Febhsmp

Hi,
My situation is also in line with yours. I also got permanent job and now planning to apply dependant visa for my spouse and kid.

Can i ask my employer to do the process? Is it feasible for getting the dependant visa processed from the employer itself.

Experts could you throw light on this.

Your employer will not process your HSMP/HSMP dependent VISA.
Assuming that your family members are still in your original country of residence, they will need to apply for an entry clearance.
The process is pretty much simple.

In addition to the copy of VISA page of your passport, you will need to provide marriage certificate for your spouse and birth certificate for your kids (original).

You will also need to provide evidence for availability of sufficient liquid assets and stay arrangements for your family (tenance agreement, council tax bill etc.)
