Application for Hong Kong Dependant Visa

Dear all,

I am currently based in UK and me and my wife will be submitting a application for dependant visa in Hong Kong. My wife is a permanent resident in Hong Kong and I am a Malaysian. My wife has been a student all these while and I am actually supporting her financially
Regarding to the prove of financial means that my wife could only show three continuous month bank statements with approximately £1500 (HKD18000) balance every month. Do you think that this is enough prove for the immigration to feel that she is able to support me. Of course we will be looking for jobs once we landed Hong Kong. We also had free accommodation which is staying with her family.

Hey this wont be enough since your wife is still a student. Obviously, her source of income comes from her family as well. If she doesnt get a job (whether part-time or not), it wont satisfy the Immigration Department that you can rely on her financially.
