Hi All,
I am currently on a Tier 2 (General) visa which I switched over from PSW which meant an RLMT wasnt required.
Now I have received an offer for a new job from a medium sized company who are not on the sponsorship register. The company has expressed their willingness to register which is a good start.
The job that I have received an offer for is not on the shortage skill list but I have been informed by the company that they have searched for a right cadidate with required skills sets for a long time but with no success. The job is cuurently being advertised through a recruitment agency. So based on this, here are my questions pertaining to RLMT requirement.
1) Can the company now carryout an RLMT by advertising the job on universal jobmatch and on another website for a continuous period of 28 days?
2) Can the RLMT be carried out simultaneously while the sponsorship registration takes place, with a view that when the company is successfully registered, they can issue a COS immediately provided they dont find a suitable candidate in the meanwhile?
3) I remember reading somewhere that the company are not supposed to make a higher salary offer to a migrant than whats advertised, but can offering a lower salary to a migrant be acceptable under the rules? the company is planning to offer me a lower pay because of lesser experience.
4) should i be interviewed again by the company during the RLMT period or is the current timeline of recruitment process in my case acceptable?
any suggestions from experts will be highly appreciated.
@ Manci: I sincerely hope you read this post and share your thoughts.
