Clarification on Status letter provided by University

Hello,

I am switching from Tier 4 to tier 2 visa and I have all the required document apart from the following.

Inorder to switch from tier 4 to tier 2 I need to prove that my degree was taught in english and I have successfully completed it.

My question is:
As my graduation date is later on the year and I don't have transcripts, can I submit the university status letter on university headed paper that my degree was taught in English and with degree classification?
