query on General Visa for parents

Hi All,

I have some queries if anyone can answer.
I am on a tier-2 visa(ICT) and my visa will expire in mid of March 2015. I want my mom-dad to visit me around mid of feb and will return all 3 of us together in the mid of March. I am staying in a PG shared accommodation. My questions are

1. What type of visa I need to apply General/Family visit?
2. Can I give the travel start and end date as say 1st jan and 15th Jan respectively? but once they get Visa they will travel in early feb or mid feb?
3. I don't have any proof of my residence like utility bill or council tax. In that case what I need to submit fro proof of accommodation?
4. My father monthly salary after all deduction of house loan etc is coming around 50K. Is that fine? How much Min balance required in the account ?
5. The ticket and other cost will be born y my father only. Do I need to show my 6mnths salary or bank statement aswell?
