Tier2ICT Long Term Staff Migrant to Tier2 General

Hi,
I am currently in UK with below details:
Visa: TIER2 ICT LONG TERM STAFF MIGRANT
VISA VALIDITY: 18-OCT-2013 TO 01-NOV-2015

I am getting offer from other company in UK so can new company able to process Tier 2 general visa for me or cooling period applies in this switch also?

Or If a new company sponsoring for Tier2 ICT, is that saves me from cooling period of 12 months?

Please advise.

1. Cooling period of 12 months will apply in your case if you want to switch from Tier 2 ICT LT to Tier 2 General. Also, you will have to apply from your home country.

2. To apply for Tier 2 ICT from new company, you will need to be working with them for 12 months. So, they cannot apply for your ICT visa the moment you join them.

Thanks. Even I am already in UK with Tier2ICT visa can't apply T2G without cooling period?

Based on the ICT visa dates you mentioned, you cannot switch to Tier 2 in-country. You can switch only if u have got the visa before Apr-2011.
