Ireland Tourist Visa

Hi,

Not sure if this is the right forum but just trying my luck if anyone knows the answer to my query.

I hold Indian Passport with UK Tier 2 Gen visa till 2016. I would like to know if i need to apply for Irish tourist visa or is it free to travel anytime? I have gone through their consulate website but had difficulty in understanding as i know there is some waiver program for Indians holding UK visa till 2015. Also i know that Northern Ireland is different with Southern Ireland and former part falls under UK. Hence I would like to know if i need to apply for tourist visa to enter Ireland for single short stay?

Child Visitor visa – (accompanied only)
Student Visitor visa
Family Visitor visa
Entertainer Visitor visa
Private Medical Treatment Visitor visa
Sports Visitor visa
Parent of a Child at School visa
approved destination scheme
Prospective Entrepreneur visa
Permitted Paid Engagement visa

thanks for your reply. The link does not mention anything for Gen work permit visa holders, its all about visitor visas. I hold UK Gen 2 work permit visa, so am i still eligible for waiver program?

Yes, because the scheme is for visitor visa.
