Urgently Need Advice: Does My Baby Need Visa?

Hi all forum members,

I have student Tier 4 visa (will expire on 30 January 2015) and now already completed my study. I have a baby of 1 month old and plan to leave UK with my family to my home country for good. To leave UK, does my baby need a UK visa?

I plan to leave next week, so please please share your opinion since for me it is very urgent.

I got very worried when I found this:

"Children born in the UK
If you have children while you’re in the UK, you can apply online for permission for them to stay as dependants.
You must do this if you want to travel in and out of the UK with your child."

So, does it means that if I and my family plan to return to UK within my T4 visa period then my baby needs a visa, but if we plan not to return to UK then my baby doesn't need a visa?

Yes. A UK-born (non-UK citizen) baby will need a UK visa for (re-)entry, but not for exit.
