non-eea marriage to eea, family permit, interviews ect

I plan to marry my fiance who is an Estonian resident of the UK. We became engaged 11 months ago after a 15 month relationship of which we were living together about three months. During the last 11 months I had to return to Australia for family reasons and the expiration of my UK working holiday permit.

I Intend to return to Europe so that we can be married in Estonia in October and then apply for the family permit at the British consulate in Tallinn, Estonia.

Has anyone out there had experience with the non EEA family permit for UK application and interview process at a British Embassy abroad? Namely the sort of proof of relationship required apart from marriage certificate ect.
