Post by funsJF » Wed Aug 29, 2007 3:32 pm

Please advice,

My finace is living in ireland - applied for asylum since 2003 but case is yet to be decided. I am a british citizen and live in the UK. we are planning our wedding in nigeria for mid next year and afterwards apply for spouse visa. in our application should we disclose his asylum case in Ireland or not?

Where / how did you meet? Have you been meeting up in Ireland? If you are going to have to disclose meetings in Ireland in order to show contact then you are going to have to disclose what his status was there.

Why won't you disclose this? It will strengthen the case?
