Tier 4 dependent VISA application

Post by rahulk043 » Mon Nov 10, 2014 7:42 am

Hi,

My wife got admission into a publicly funded Higher Education Institution . I am currently working in a company from which I (with my wife) went to UK on a Tier 2 ICT VISA for the period of (July 2013 to July 2014) . As a rule , I have to undergo a cooling off period of 12 months before making further VISA application in Tier 2 category.

I didn't get an extended leave from the company for the period of her study (12 month), instead they asked me to quit and re-join once back . I am now thinking of quitting to the current job and go along with my wife as a dependent , since she cannot live herself in UK for the whole 12 months.

My question is ,
while applying for the VISA, do they ask for the relieving letter from my company ?
OR
is there any way that I can shoe a proof that I have already applied for resignation and waiting for the relieving letter from the company?

* My relieving date would be around 3 week of December 2014 and I wanted to apply for the VISA in the first week of December.

Please help me with the above query .

Thanks, Hari.

None of these things are needed. If your wife has a T4 visa check if you are eligible for a PBS dependant visa:
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... _07-14.pdf
If you are, and your application is successful, the PBS dependant visa will automatically override the T2 ICT visa (if it hasn't already been cancelled since it seems that you quit your job which the sponsor was duty bound to report to UKVI).

Please help me with the above query .

Thanks, Hari.
