EEA2 question

Post by spencerand » Wed Aug 29, 2007 4:16 pm

I am an American citizen living with my Italian wife in the UK. I have sent in my EEA2 application.

One thing I am a bit worried about is that in her job she has taken my last name, but on all her official documents she still has her family name. This means that her passport has her family name on it, but her payslips and contract have my last name on them. She did this just because her name is difficult to pronounce and mine is easier ans she works almost exclusively with Brits. In the application I explained this in a letter, but do you think they might refuse me because of this? The application is still pending, so would it be worth it to try to send them a contract with her last name on it?

Thanks for your help.
