Child settlement visa please help!

I obtained a British citizenship about six months ago,thank God after a long !
I got married to a British and we have a daughter together and a step son living home.
The issue is I have a daughter and a son from my ex girlfriend aged 14 and 16 living with my mum in my home country and would like to bring them over,their mother abandoned them when they were young.

I have sole responsibility on them

I was going through the VAf4a form and the appendix 2 which I believed is the right one to use, but I am a bit confused about the financial requirement.

My questions are as follows
1. much precisely is the financial requirement to be met as I am self employed ?

2. Is my family household income need to be declared which includes CB and CTC ?

3.Or is the financial requirement has to do with the 2 applicant only which is £18600 plus 2 children total £24800 .

Lastly as self employed is the income has to be net or gross.

The Children should be able to qualify under Paragraph 297, provided you are able to properly demonstrate Sole responsibility.

My other questions is how much the exact money is expected to cover the maintanance of 2 under 18 living home here in the UK plus my wife and 2 children abroad,

I am a bit confused in terms of caculating the exact amount required

Besides what appendix is to used is it 1 or 2 ?
