visa application for mother in law to visit

Post by december2006 » Thu Nov 13, 2014 11:49 am

Hello,

I'm about to invite my mother in law to visit my 2 kids and wife in the uk for the first time sometimes at the end of jan 2015. I have prepared all my documents to support her application with the exception of bank statements and a tenancy agreement.

The bank balance is not very good and I have just provided my 6 months pay slip and a letter from my employer.

I am using my previous address (3 bed flat owned by my mother) as accommodation where my mother in law will be staying. This is where I lived for 17 years and most of all my documents are still sent to this address and infact all my supporting documents for the visa application carry this address. I have indeed only just moved in the last 6 months to my own flat.

The problem is I do not have a rental agreement for the property, not even when I was living there. I got my mother to sign a no objection letter saying It's ok for my mother in law to visit and she owns the property e.t.c

Will these be enough or are their issues ?? Please advise
