Visitor visa questions

Post by prasad394 » Sun Nov 16, 2014 9:23 am

Hi All,

My fiancee is planning to join me for Christmas on a tourist visa. We are getting married in India late Jan and will be back in the UK for a week before she flies back to the US. A few questions that I am looking for help with.

1) What is the accommodation cost ?. Can my fiancee mention it as 0 GBP ? She will be staying with me and I am writing so in the invitation letter as well.

2) What is the cost of living ? I searched a lot of guidance documents but there is no guidline on what the right amount is. Is GBP 600 a good amount to mention ? Again, we are adding in the additional information section and the invitation letter that I will be taking care of the living expenses.

3) Finally, I have been in the UK only for two months now. Hence, I don't have six months' pay slips. Is that ok ?

Regards,
Prasad
