Extending visa need offer letter?

Post by landrover8032 » Thu Nov 20, 2014 11:14 am

Hi,
Can you please advise on my situation as follow:

I am extending my student visa (PhD) outside the UK. My offer letter has two versions. The one in 2009 when I started has only 1 sentence when describing my course, which was not accepted by ATAS, so I have to update it when applying student visa in 2011 (from 2009-2011 I'm on PSW visa). However, I only have the 2009 version with me now. My question is whether I need to submit it with the application because if I submit, the course description in this letter will be different than the one in ATAS. My 2014 ATAS is the copied version of my 2011 ATAS, which has the course description with 5 sentences :(. Is this risky to not provide that offer letter, which was quite outdate though?

Thanks a lot for your help.
