Student to FLR

Post by lorni1 » Thu Nov 20, 2014 7:39 pm

Hi there,

My civil partner is currently on a student visa which ends in January. We put in our application for FLR(M) on 1st November. We received a letter from the Home Office today stating that "You must make the application or claim using the current version of the correct specified form".

Could anybody shed any light on what this actually means?

The FLR(M) form was updated on the website on the 6th Nov, but we applied on the 1st, and so this should not be a 'current version' issue...unless they have made a mistake. Have we applied then for the wrong visa?

Any help much appreciated!

Thanks,

Lorna
