Why my reference number is same again?

Guys,

Quick question, I recently applied again for my HSMP application, they sent me email with my reference 223xxx/03.
This reference number is the same which I had in past for my first application, only addition they did /03.

Now does that mean that my application will be processed quickly?

Any ideas?

The point of reassigning the reference number is so that they don't double-count the number of applicants (as distinct from the number of applications). It hasn't any implications on the speed of review, and indeed, the application will not necessarily even be reviewed by the same caseworker who reviewed your earlier application. AG
