Can I get a Visa based on CMI Level 8 Diploma after MPhil

Please this is urgent one, I'am begging for response from Gurus and all those with knowledge in this area.

I am completing my MPhil in Dec.2014 and Visa ends few months thereafter. I have failed to secure a PhD place to extend my Visa because of the 8 years capping (spent 7 years on student visa and 2 years post study). All the universities I have applied to are giving same reason-I really blundered to go for MPhil instead of PhD in the first place. Someone advised that since I have only a year to study, I can consider doing CMI Level 8 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership. My first student Visa was issued in Dec 2005 but i only arrived in the UK in January 2006. According to my calculations, it shows I have only one year to study. Please someone advise if I can get a Visa based on this programme after I successfully complete MPhil programme (level 7)

My aim is to bridge up to December 2015 when I will qualify for 10 years long stay-please help, this issue gives me sleepless nights.

A lot of PHD programs contain the first year of study which is called MPHIL. You may argue about that.
