visa for a new born baby in india

Post by ibrahimsyde » Sat Sep 01, 2007 5:32 pm

Hello All,
Every time I need any assistance I came here and I have always been recieved excellent guidance from this forum, its really is a great piece of work done by few champs out there !!
My query this time is for my baby boy born last month in india, my wife has HSMP dependant visa until 2010 and need to apply one for our son in india, hyderabad.
Does his visa application required any supporting documents to be submitted from my end OR just an affidavit of support would do ?
Your response would be much appreciated as ever.
Kind Regards
Ibrahim

I would provide last 3 months bank statements, copies of HSMP visa, passport, marriage certificate, child's birth certificate and covering letter. Why not call the British High commission where you plan to apply and ask them what they normally require in support of such an application?
