I called the 03001232253...choose the more than 6months option...and they will give you an update...i tend to do that every 2days ..

I called them and they said its under consideration i said tell me if u sent me any letter I am having difficulty in receiving my post now a days she said no letter sent lol no chance for any letter till 2 weeks now

yeah same as well last week....no letter planned to be sent out...well i guess we will all have to sit and wait for the famous/infamous brown envelop as some may call it...
but if you read previous post, some of this delays may be attributed to 3rd party checks..which normally takes the HO a long time to carry out.. ...
i am sure the approvals are on its way...fingers crossed

updates doesnt have to be approvals..does it..now this is mine....

called them this morning, still the same story...application still ongoing... ...I wonder when its going to be something more positive like the famous brown envelop...

@cov...lol its an individual thingy...I only called to get some update because others have been receiving approvals and i dont see any harm to request for some update.
you may choose to wait longer....but its a personal decision to call or not to..i dont think there is any harm if you do

I called HO today too (used the >6m option). Was told the application has not been decided and is still under consideration… frustrating.

Just called UKBA to find out more info, and was told there is no info available apart from it has been allocated to a case worker. I have been receiving this for last week and a half.

Just called the HO for an update. I was told that a letter was sent out to me on Friday 28 Nov (I applied using the NCS on 24 September). They would not say what the letter was about, but fingers crossed that it's good news!

There is no harm in checking. You may get the letter in couple of days anyway.

My Original life in UK certificate was collected when I applied for Naturalisation. My approval letter was received last week and was hoping for my LIU certificate to be returned in few days. It's close to a week and have not been received. Anyone have on idea on this?

Note: I know LIU may not be required anymore but wondering what happens to the certificate.

HO keeps it when then approve your application.

Hi, I submitted the application on 10 Sep as well, and have no results yet. I just notice the dashboard, many of the applications submitted on 10/Sep and 11/Sep are not returned yet, 30% of the rate compare within 70% in total in September. it is very strange.

Just an update on my application. I received approval an 7th and booked the ceremony straight away for 25th(today). I never received my ceremony invite. I phoned the registrar last Thursday and I was told not to worry about it as my name is on the list.
Turned up for ceremony today only to find out I am not on the list. Registrar was very good and helping. After I explained everything, she asked me to wait while she looks for my certificate. It was eventually found and given to me at the end of ceremony.
Posted my passport application straight away so wait starts again

I have a Permanent Residency Certificate and the children were both born in the UK, so this should be one of the easiest to decide ever!!!

It seems like MN applications are taking between 3 to 4 months. The only reason I can think of is that they don't get priority.

I just called the HO again today. This time I was told that no letter has been sent and that no decision has been made yet. This makes no sense, as I was told yesterday that a letter was sent to me on Friday. Any ideas what's going on there? Any similar experiences?
