looking for a job while waiting for EEA2

hi i was searching internet for some answers but couldn't find anything
i have applied for EEA2 couple of weeks ago. i have not received COA yet. given i receive it soon and it states the right to work (i know it can get more complicated than that!), i am going to look for a job. Anyone has any experience with looking for a job while waiting for EEA2 with no valid visa just with COA?
