Switching from Tier 2 (ICT) to Tier 2 General

Hi All,
I've Applied for tier 2 (ICT) on 31st March 2011 from India , but visa has been granted on 10th April 2011.
I'm living and working in UK now on Tier 2 (ICT).

So, i'm just wondering whether i'm eligible to switch to Tier 2 General as I've applied for tier 2(ICT) visa on 31st March 2011.

It depends on your date of application. For out of country applications (like your case), the date of application is the date when the payment is deducted. When did the payment got debited from your card?

@ Moonlight55, Thanks a lot for your quick reply. The date of payment got debited on 31st of march 2011, and I've received the confirmation from UK Visa Application Centre Delhi, on same date 31st March 2011.

But, under home office website it's clearly mentioned that "visa granted date after 6 April 2011, not about the application submitted date...So i'm bit confused whether i will be eligible to switch to tier 2 General as I've got my tier 2 ICT granted on 10th April 2011

You can’t:
switch into any other Tier 2 (Intra-company Transfer) visa type
switch into Tier 2 (General) if your Tier 2 (Intra-company Transfer) Long-term Staff visa was granted after 6 April 2011

your T2 ICT visa was granted under the rules that were in force before 6 April 11 and you are allowed to switch to T2G. Refer to Immigration Rule 245HD(c)(i)

According to Refer to Immigration Rule 245HD(c)(i)

An applicant who has, or was last granted leave as a Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer)
Migrant must:
(i) have previously had leave as a Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) Migrant under the
Rules in place before 6 April 2010, or in the Established Staff sub-category under the
Rules in place before 6 April 2011

it is not the date of the stamp but the date of the application that determines under what rules the visa was granted.

Please quote exactly what is on your visa stamp.

Place of Issue: New Delhi
Valid from:10 /04 /2011
Valid Unit: 09/04/2013
Number of Entries : MULT
Type: Visa Tier 2 (ICT) ESTABLISHED STAFF.
