According to this thread(Q11) by Amber, you should inform HO.
They will also ask you to send your driving license counter part.

Okay so I am sending my license and counterpart next week and also paying online.

So once received i shall be informing HO.
Do you know how I can do this ?
Any email address please ?

I think its better to inform them now. Email address should be on acknowlegement letter.
