switching of soc code

Post by lebaj21 » Tue Dec 02, 2014 10:43 pm

hi,

i am currently holding a tier 2 visa issued last december 2013. Now, my sponsor's licensed has been revoked by the home office last October. Until now i haven't received my curtailment letter yet so i can still work. My question is, if ever I can find a sponsor and will give me a COS but of different soc code, will this affect my application for a new visa?my current soc code 2219 and the possible new soc code is 6146?

please advise me. Thank you.

You cannot move to a lower NQF role. Your previous / current role is NQF6. and that will be the minimum role you can take in the future.
I am guessing the care home lost its licence by employing people to do senior care assistant roles with glorified title to give them access to tier 2 COS.
This type of abuse is being clamped done on very heavily now.

You have two viable options

If you qualify to enter the overseas nursing program there are plenty of vacancies. You will probably will already have a nursing degree from your home country?
What you might not have is the IELTS at 7.0. This is not a UKVI requirement but a Nursing Midwife Council requirement to get a provisional PIN.

If you can't qualify for the above then it is either find another NQF6 role that you can legitimately apply for or become a student if your desperately want to stay in the UK.
If your looking at other NQF6 roles in your industry stay away from the many sharks that offer positions such as PR & Customer Service or Business Development Manager as they will last about as long as your current role. If you get caught a second time round in a false role you will be removed for knowing participating in a false role and employing deception, no appeal and a 10 year ban on returning.

The last and least palatable option is to accept that perhaps you should go home.
