FLR (M) Visa and rules about living together

Post by Fre » Mon Dec 01, 2014 12:52 am

Hi,

I'm currently here with my partner on a FLR M Visa and am unclear about the rules in regards to living together. I wonder if any of you can help, or perhaps, have some experiences to share. For example, would I be able to take a seasonal live-in job in a town several hours away if I still returned to my home to my partner for weekends. Would this breach the requirement that we must be living together if I still considered our home to be my permanent address? And how about studying? Would it be a a breach of my visa regulations if I started a study program at a college in a different city (which would require me to stay at a different dwelling during the school term)?

Would be grateful for any answers or advice.
Cheers,
F

If your letters are still going to the same address and your wife is in support of your decision, nothing to worry about.
You can study and do whatever is within the condition of your visa being granted.
