WHICH FORM FLR(O ) OR FLR (fp) or flr(M)

Post by NOTTINGHAM2014 » Thu Dec 04, 2014 11:40 pm

Hi every one, I am confused about which form to use for my wife. We were of the thinking of FLR(M), I have ILR and have 2 british national children, both under 5yrs .my wife currently is an illegal migrant, as her application for leave to remain was refused before we got married and was asked to leave the country ie about 4 years ago. Her passport and other documents still with the home office. We thinking of applying using the Flr(M) route ,as we can meet financial requirements but a lawyer friend thinks otherwise suggesting to apply using flr(O) because of her current status

Thanks

The lawyer friend seem wrong in my view.

I believe the most appropriate form will be FLR(FP).

Notwithstanding the fact that you meet the financial requirement, your wife will not qualify under the FLR(M) , as she does not meet the Immigration Status requirement.

All the best.
