between jobs on hsmp..any new immigration rule to enter Uk

i got my hsmp from may 2006 to may 2008 .but i was between jobs on hsmp and now i m in india and want to come back to Uk.but the problem is immigration rules have changed and i have heard that if u dont work contioniously on hsmp you are not allowed to enter Uk.

My point is in these two years totally i have been employed for two months and now i m in india.What should i do ?whom should i contact with such a unusual query.9 months of hsmp visa is still remaining can i go to Uk .what about the immigration guys on the airport.last time i cam to india and went back to Uk they had asked me why i was back in Uk.can anione help me

It might not be a problem getting back into the UK since your visa is still valid. If you are asked at the airport where do you work, you simply let them know that you are between jobs and you are returning to find a new job. Before you travel though check the guidance notes on the criteria for renewal (extension) of your HSMP visa. You would be taking the risk of not getting a job in time or not earning enough to qualify for renewal.
