Hi Guys, does anybody know if the supporting documents are also sent back by DX Secure? I've received my BP today but I need my Malaysian PP back to travel due to a sudden family bereavement but IPS has not dispatched it back to me yet. I have called DX and they said they don't have any documents for me for delivery and also said they pass any docs for me to Royal Mail due to my location (Inverness). I called IPS and they said the courier has not picked up my supporting docs yet. My timeline is: Submission 02/12, Interview 10/12, Receipt of BP 11/12. Any help is much appreciated.

SMS confirming receipt by IPS: 05-Dec-2014 (received at 11 am from HM Passport)
Date of return of documents: 08-Dec-2014 (delivered by DX secure in my mailbox, no signature required)
Date of receipt of interview letter: 06-Dec-2014 (dated 05-Dec-2014)
Date of Passport Appointment: 09-Dec-2014 (early morning at London Victoria)

All done! Everything was much quicker than anticipated. Applied for BC on Sept 1st, got approval dated Oct 31st, ceremony was on Dec 1st, and passport was received on Dec 11th.

Passport only took 7 days (5 business days) from application being received by IPS to holding my brand new passport in my hands.

Because Malaysia does not allow dual nationality and I must surrender my Malaysian passport before travelling with my British Passport.

You can call Adviceline on 0300 222 0000 and go through the options applicable to you; on the last one press "0" as if you were waiting longer than 3- 6 weeks; you will get a very helpful person on the other end that would be able to track your application in their system and tell you exactly where it is in the process. All you need is your Check & Send application number for them to be able to check. I called Adviceline 2 days after I received a text confirming receipt of my application by IPS, and they told me that my application has been already reviewed and the interview letter was sent a day ago. They are also able to advise if there are any holds on the application, etc.

Hi all my timeline so far is:
First adult passport, naturalised. Check and send po. Sent on 8/12/14 so far not heard anything. Tried to call helpline said nothing on system till it reachef 7 days no sms and PO wont be able to confirm receipt of application. So i will call back on monday and update u

Update on my case . Just received letter for appointment today and booked one for next week . But havent received my originals nor an sms. Date of app on 8/12 letter to book interview dated 11/12 received today. Will write in right format next time (am using mobile ) .

I was told that my application is stuck because they have sent mail to the office address of the counter signatory. In unfortunately the office is saying they havenot received any post. Even though pass port office has send 2 reminder letter.
Can you please advise what shall be done in this case? Bit of a deadlock.
