Naturalization processing Delayed

Post by vsindhu.al » Sat Dec 27, 2014 5:06 pm

My Naturalization processing has been delayed by more than 5 & half months .
Applied for Naturalization after 2 years of Tier 1 dependent +1 Year of ILR (Total after 3 years )
called UKBA twice and my application is still under consideration .

Could you please let me know if any one has come across this situation,
what is the next process i need to take to know about my application status /delay
why they are taking time as many of them who has applied after me has there naturalization been granted .

Please advice .
Thanks

Is your partner/spouse British?

Quite a number of people here have been having the same problem. All I can suggest is that you contact your MP once 6 months have passed as it seems that tends to speed up the process often.
I am sometimes wrong.

Did you apply on basis of being spouse of British Citizen? Because otherwise the case couldn't have been valid after three years' residence.
Being British is a state of mind.

I'd wait till completion of six months and involve MP.
