Accommodation Letter for FLR(M) visa

Post by imraheel » Sun May 11, 2014 4:04 pm

Hello Everyone,

I received my indefinite visa last month on the base of long residence 10 years.
I am gonna apply the FLR(M) spouse visa just for my wife (without two sons). She is living in uk as my dependent for the last three years.

For this visa, accommodation letter is required.
I am living in a two bed room flat with another family. One bed room is for my family and second bed room is for the second family.
FLR(M) guidelines suggests that the accommodation should only be occupied by my family. But the flat contract is to my name and second family name.

Can anyone advise me that what should I do in these circumstances?
I am living in this flat for the last two years.
Please advise.

Just supply your tenancy agreement.

Thanks Amber for your reply.

That is problem that tenancy agreement is two names. To my name and second room person's name. While last page of FLR (M) guidelines suggests that the accommodation should only be occupied by me. Is it ok?

So far as it's not overcrowded (click).

A letter from the Joint tenant stating that your family could stay may be advisable.

Hi,

Very similar situation.

I have received my ILR on 10 year basis and applying for wife's FLR(M) in PEO.

On other hand as we are going through of buying a new property and so we are living with a family friend for 2/3 months (no rent) until completion of buying the property.

Would a letter from this family friend be enough to prove that we have adequate accommodation ? There is no over crowding, and we have our own ensuite on a seperate floor.

I have all the paperwork required to prove that we are buying the property, offer acceptance letter, mortgage agreement, emails from estate agent, financial planner etc.. So was thinking of putting all this along with accommodation letter from family friend.

Thanks in advance.
