Confusion about letter required from UK Naric

Post by nazi101 » Sat Jan 03, 2015 8:16 am

Dear Members
I got my ILR last year based on 10 years long residency. I am submitting my naturalisation application next week. I have completed a bachelor's degree from UK (Oxford Brooks University) back in 2012. I am confused about UK Naric requirements. in the guidance notes it says that the degree should be deemed by UK Naric. But i have also heard that if you have a UK degree than you do not require any English language certification or comparability certificate from UK Naric.

Also if i need a print out from points based calculator provided on ukba website, how do i fill info on that calculator because it also asks about other info like which Tier i am applying for and other unrelated information to me.

Please advice me that do I need any letter from UK Naric or my Bachelor Degree certificate is enough.?

Bachelor UK degree should be enough to prove KoLL. If you had received ILR last year, you must have already provided new KoLL requirement as if you apply for ILR or Citizenship after 28th of October 2013, you have to meet the new requirements.

You didn't receive ILR last year then :-)

You need to meet new KoLL qualifications meaning both English and LIUK.
You don't need UK NARIC letter if you hold degree from UK.
